My Mum once told me, that my first word was not “Mum” or “Mama”, my first word was “Porsche”.

This may or may not be true, but it could be. I have always loved cars - whatever the brand.

I did not learn to drive - I just got in a car and drove.

Some may think that to be a ‘petrolhead’ you need to love all things powered by fossil fuels, but I beg to differ.  I love all (almost all!)  cars.

Since 2018, I have ensured that any rally I have been involved with has had some element of sustainability and as a result, we have used an electric car to carry out any dry runs or use them as support vehicles.

For the MIPIM rally of 2026, we had a wide range of cars participate which included a car from the 1970’s as well as the most up to date Supercar, a Hybrid Supercar and everything in between.

This rally brought together a wide range of men and women and was a great networking opportunity, where our guests came away with new friends and new memories. 

Over the three days, we raised funds for charity via a raffle that was organised by our partner and good friend 'The Luxury Sourcerer'. 

Our first is a local charity to Brands Hatch - The Riverside Players of Eynsford (charity number 293095) - an education in dramatic arts and community theatre charity. 

The second charity is Dementia UK. 

It is all about the journey - not the destination. Although in this case - Cannes was a stunning destination to conclude the trip.
